Since our products contain natural ingredients and we don’t use any unnatural preservatives, our products do have a shelf life, which is typically 12-24 months. If our products are kept out of direct sunlight and at room temperature or below, they will stay fresher longer. In the rare case that you purchase one of our products and find that it is not at its freshest point, please contact us so we can handle this on a case-by-case basis.

We use a combination of butters & oils to create our Body Butters & Body Scrubs. These ingredients are prone to melting at higher temperatures, particularly during the summer months and in warmer climates. If you happen to receive an item that is melted, simply place it in the refrigerator until hardened, then stir. Not to worry, it is the same great product and wonderful ingredients! Butters & scrubs are best stored in cool, dry places. If you live in a warmer climate, store them in the refrigerator to extend shelf life.

You will receive an email with the date that your order will be delivered, generally within 24 hours of processing. This option is ONLY available for delivery on Nantucket Island.

You can use body scrubs in the bath or shower. To avoid damaging your skin, make sure your body is thoroughly wet and softened with warm water – overly hot water can dry your skin. Apply scrub with hands. Cover your body with an adequate amount of body scrub, and using circular motions, massage it into your skin. Rinse thoroughly with your favorite bath soap. BODY SCRUBS WILL MAKE YOUR TUB SLIPPERY DUE TO THE OILS & BUTTERS IN THEM, SO USE WITH CAUTION AND BE CAREFUL NOT TO SLIP WHEN GETTING OUT OF THE TUB OR SHOWER. Rinse your tub or shower out after using if necessary.
